VS 130th ANNIVERSARY DINNER!!!
it has been a while since i last step back to VS.. but yesterday was different.. yup its the anniversary dinner to celebrate 130 years.. cool..
so we all meet at the canteen before the dinner starts.. it was kinda nice to see all my classmates back again.. and certainly all have change in one way or another..
so yeah.. the dinner was an 8-course meal.. haha everyone joked about it that we paid 20 bucks to see the president of singapore.. Mr S R Nathan.. who was a former VICTORIAN himself.. and the other 5 bucks for the meal.. hmm.. the meal..
the first one was assorted dish.. comprising of chicken ball.. and some other stuff that im not particularly sure of..
the second one is sharks fin soup.. haha we all thought it was taugeh soup.. it was really overflowing with taugeh.. never had sharks fin soup with taugeh before.. so anyway we were all hungry.. so we just dig in..
the third one was roast chicken if im not wrong.. haha we all clean up the plate in a matter of seconds.. oh my..
ok so after this i can't remember the sequence of the dish.. but i will say it nonetheless.. the fourth one is abalone and fried vegetables.. at of us was staring at it and wondering what it was.. really coz its my first time eating it.. and cheng xing said that it was dam hard.. too hard for an abalone.. oh well.. like i said.. since everyone was too starved.. no one cared..
the fifth one is cake.. haha.. amusing.. they served dessert so fast.. it should be the last.. anyway the cake wasnt much for us as this was a portion of the cake that is cut by the presiident himself..
the sixth one is prawns.. wahaha.. i looked at everyone trying their best to peel off the prawn shells using their forks and spoons.. haha.. i didn't care and just used the best cutlery.. MY HANDS.. imagine lah people dam hungry still have to bother peeling the shells of prawns using forks and spoons.. which is rather taxing..
the seventh one is fried bee hoon.. FINALLY.. some real food.. haha.. we all quickly finish up the bee hoon..
ok so before the last course.. we sang the VICTORIAN ANTHEM.. omg.. for so long i long to sing it again.. so we all circled at the back as we know that we were anticipating the follow-up.. the VS CHEER.. woohoo.. so yeah i guess after singing the anthem and cheering.. i felt kinda full..
the last one is yam soup.. well i kinda have to eat a bit.. coz theres so much left..
so after that we took pictures.. and more pictures.. and we went to simpang bedok to eat.. haha.. once again i stuffed myself.. and i went home with willis, hakim and jordan.. shareing the cab.. and we all talked a lot in the cab.. and laughing like crazy..
ok so i go to go my friends house now to do PW.. the most dreaded subject of all.. haha.. *chao*
