HnF Orientation!
yeah.. we had organized an orientation for j1 batch who had join the club.. it was kinda hard to get them to participate in the activities we had in store for them.. i guess they are still adjusting to a totally new environment.. i still remember the days when i had my PAE.. but i shall not go further into that..
ok so we started off with a brief introduction of the club to the j1s.. and i had to do solo as sengkiang was settling some matters with ms goh.. so yeah i just introduced myself to her and then i had the j2s introducing themselves to them.. after that it was the ICEBREAKERS.. it was fun.. overall.. and i joined in the icebreakers as a member instead of a vp as i wanted to make the atmosphere very friendly and it sort of did.. haha good achievement for me on my part..
ok so the icebreakers consists of a few games.. first it was WHACKO.. it was pretty slow but we need it so that everyone get to know everybody else.. sadly.. the j2s don't know each other.. thats coz they have been slacking last year and ponning gym duties.. it was kinda embarassing to notice that the j1s notice that the j2s were not really united.. haiz.. but anyway it was pretty much ok..
then comes TRADEMARK something.. haha can't remember.. but its super hard.. each person must say his/her name and do an action.. the next person say his/her name and say the name of the previous person and do another action.. we had to scrape it as it was pretty hard to remember everything..
then comes the some CURTAIN THINGGY.. where we must quickly show out the name of the person opposite the curtain when the curtain falls.. and yeah i was appointed the first one in my team.. so i was stunned when it suddenly falls.. haha.. but in the end my team lost.. so we did a forfeit.. a BANANA DANCE! and i had to lead obviously.. pretty embarassing.. but i had to be enthu.. so yeah..
then its the BROKEN TELEPHONE.. i was laughing when the j1 make hand gestures at me.. i wasn't concentrating and screwed up the whole thing.. oh well.. i had fun.. and the j1s seem starting to have fun..
lastly it was the LINING UP ON CHAIRS ACCORDING A CERTAIN ORDER (ok i don't know what its called).. we lost that one.. and our forfeit was super embarassing.. we had to PULL UP OUR PANTS DAM HIGH, WHILE SINGING MARY HAD A LITTLE LAMB, IN A STRAIGHT ROW, AND PARADED TILL THE FOYER!!
haha.. then we ahd a talk from the teacher -in-charge.. and we proceeded to play captain's ball.. it was fun alright.. but somehow the j1s kinda not responding.. well some of them.. i was kinda disappointed at the end of everything during the feedback session but it was inevitable.. we got not so good feedbacks.. n its all the fault of insufficient time to plan.. but on the whole.. its not bad..
ok i guess i need to rest..
